On June 30, a green and low-carbon supplier training program for CRRC locomotive companies was held in Zunyi, Guizhou Province. The event was organized by the Training Center of the China Communications and Transportation Association, hosted by CRRC Asset Management Co., Ltd., and supported by the Association’s Rail Equipment Technology Committee. A total of 136 representatives from CRRC headquarters, relevant subsidiaries, and supplier companies attended.

  As CRRC’s integrated green and low-carbon service platform, CRRC Asset Management invited industry experts and internal specialists to deliver the training.

  Aligned with national goals for developing green and low-carbon supply chains, the program aimed to integrate green and low-carbon principles throughout central SOEs’ supply chain management and establish a closed-loop management system covering the entire value chain. Training topics included CRRC’s carbon management practices and value-chain controls, supply chain ESG practices, precision carbon measurement, product carbon footprint management, and green factory development.

  Guided by its “35·50” carbon neutrality targets, CRRC has established quantitative management systems covering operational emissions reduction, green technologies, and supply chain collaboration. The training will further support the transition of CRRC’s supply chain from reducing its own emissions to leading coordinated decarbonization across upstream and downstream partners.

  CRRC will continue working with suppliers to strengthen shared responsibility, innovation, and long-term cooperation, while promoting greener products and supporting the high-quality, low-carbon development of the rail transit equipment manufacturing industry.
